Top provider of seed cultivars

Silver seren, I have had a look at the article and think that the description "top provider of seed cultivars" needs more context, both in the article and the DYK nomination. De Correspondent says that "the Access to Seeds Index ... indicates the extent to which breeding companies contribute to access to high-quality seed for farmers in developing countries." (via Google translate)[1] The article doesn't make it clear whether top means the best provider or the largest (it seems to mean the best) and doesn't mention developing countries. A reference to the 2016 index at http://www.accesstoseeds.org/downloads/index-report-2016.pdf could also be helpful. TSventon (talk) 06:36, 18 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
