Passive voice edit

I didn't understand why the lead phrased "resulting in Arbery being fatally shot by McMichael" in such a roundabout way, so I changed it to "resulting in McMichael fatally shooting Arbery." I'm a dolt though, so if the passive voice was appropriate, I'm gonna have to ask y'all to fix my mistake, sorry and thank you. --Kizor 16:17, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Seems like a good change to me, for what it's worth; I think that statement has undergone many revisions in the past, so it probably just got stuck in a weird place. Writ Keeper  16:47, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. I don't think it was terrible the way it was, but this is an upgrade. Thank you. Dumuzid (talk) 16:53, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
