Shawn Johnson → Shawn Johnson East – Shawn is married to Andrew East. Publicly, she now goes by "Shawn Johnson East." She has changed her name on her twitter page, her instagram page, her Youtube channel, her verified Facebook page, and her personal webpage.
Her profile at USA Gymnastics contains her new married name. Various media outlets also started using her married name (see here, here, here, and here).
Someone had marked the article to "not change to Shawn Johnson East without a consensus on the talk page" but didn't bother to add the topic(?!). So here it is:
I propose that the page be renamed to Shawn Johnson East, that her name in the text of the article be changed to the same, and Shawn Johnson should #redirect to Shawn Johnson East. Any discussion? Arx Fortis (talk) 03:36, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
