editFucking terrible article. He's been compared to Magic Johnson as a big PG but NEVER MJ. He lacks premier level athleticism, especially at 6'7. This is factually wrong, the article is biased and terribly written.
- Fixed the PoV, feel free to add anything I missed. --Afolkman 01:58, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
- Lvingston didn't break his leg, nor did he 'almost have his leg amputated'. If you want to make these statements, make sure the references (1&2) used back it up. Nhayes2004
Magic Johnson is MJ, not Michael Jordan. Still, comparing Livingston to the greatest player that ever played is not only disrespectful to Magic Johnson but unfair to Livingston.
- MJ = Michael Jordan. Nhayes2004
What makes Livingston a PG and LeBron James a SF? Both are playing the 3 spot. --Bender235 19:33, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Livingston was drafted as a point guard and I don't think the Clippers have any intention of not using him at that position eventually. The only reason he has been playing at the 3 spot is because of the acquisition of Sam Cassell. So, I think it's fair to list him as both a PG and SF. Really, the small forward thing is very recent. Not to say that it isn't possible that he ultimately ends up playing at the 3 spot most of his career; but I don't see it as all that likely given his skills as a PG. --Jakob Huneycutt 21:05, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- LeBron James is probably even more skilled for playing PG, but he does not ? at least not officially, which means he's running the Cavs offense as "point forward", not "point guard". I don't think Livingston will do any different. --Bender235 14:43, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- LeBron James doesn't normally run the Cavs offense; nor is he listed as a point guard on the roster. Your argument makes no sense. Even if LeBron is "more skilled" at being a PG, it still does not make him a PG because he's not playing the PG position. Livingston, on the other hand, actually has been playing at point guard (this very week in fact), so I'm not sure how you could suggest he's not a point guard when he's actually playing PG. Whether LeBron hypothetically makes a better PG than Livingston is completely irrelevant. I'd argue that Kevin Garnett (who plays PF) makes a better point guard than Stephon Marbury but that doesn't somehow magically make Steph a forward. --Jakob Huneycutt 18:44, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Remove Reference?
editIs reference #8 redundant? Considering that the sentence already links to ESPNews + ESPN Gametime is a generic (and unassessed) article + reference #9 is the article specific to Livingston's injury, should #8 exist as a reference? Gprobins (talk) 18:14, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
