POV?

edit

"the Soviet Union's *dictator* Joseph Stalin,"

Do you know anyone who wouldn't agree that Joseph Stalin was a dictator? If he wasn't a dictator, then no one ever was.

Hmm, I think he used the title "Generalissimus", or "The peoples commisar for defence", but he was a dictator, no question about it

The constitution he wrote for the USSR in 1936 refers to the state as a "dictatorship" in the beginning of the document. Helpful? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.54.90 (talk) 10:46, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

His birthdate

edit

Does anyone know which calendar March 13, 1913 as his birthday applies, Julian or Gregorian? This is important as Russia still used Julian calendar when he was born.--Jusjih 17:03, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Translation into English?

Does anybody know are there any translation of Michalkov`s poetry into English (or German)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.201.75.7 (talk) 15:32, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Although Mikhalkov wrote several sets of lyrics for the anthem for different regimes, please note that expressions such as “pliable old hack” are non-encyclopaedic and should not be in the article. 12.201.7.201 (talk) 16:29, 9 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
