Opened by Sir Harry Secombe edit

We did have a source to prove that it was Sir Harry who opened the theatre. However, the link to the Welsh Icons website has become broken, so I have had to remove this fact from the article, along with the broken link. However, the information should be restored as soon as the link becomes available again, or another source becomes available. A P Monblat (talk) 10:34, 5 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Now restored, supported by a different source. A P Monblat (talk) 00:03, 14 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I was there in when Sir Harry attended a special performance of the opening panto: "Dick Whittington". I do have a programme from the event, but have already had a contribution deleted for lack of clarity on copyright (which was a scan of the opening season brochure). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.170.166 (talk) 21:10, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
