Since there are speculated to be gaps in the list? edit

Why are scholars so certain Jonathan III is the High-Priest at the time of Jesus? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.29.233.157 (talk) 10:40, 9 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Undoing unsourced genealogy by CalpurniusCalpurnius edit

Having read Moses Gaster's original list I can say it is clear by context each high priest is father and son. This revision https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Samaritan_High_Priest&direction=prev&oldid=605694334 by User:CalpurniusCalpurnius added unsourced patronymics that clearly go against Gaster's text. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Samaritan_High_Priest&oldid=1047617646 in this revision, and removed the original uncited list in this revision https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Samaritan_High_Priest&oldid=1047619310 SiliconProphet (talk) 18:23, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
