Birth year vandalism edit

Just curious: why do some people derive pleasure from switching her birth year to 1981? According to IMDB it's 1986. Which would correctly make her 14 when Fat Girl was filmed in 2000. Fnordware (talk) 00:29, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Whoops, spoke too soon. More recent US articles do indicate she was born in 1981. Good to know that she was at least 18 when she did nude scenes in Fat Girl. IMDB is wrong. Fnordware (talk) 04:34, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Let's examine the birth year evidence, shall we?

1986:
1981:
  • Her IMDB entry used to say 1986, but now says 1981. Not sure who makes changes there.
  • Undated interview regarding The Last Mistress (2007) says she is 26, which would indicate 1981 birth year. This blog says the interview took place 24 October 2007. Here's another one.
  • 2011 Hollywood Reporter interview says she's 29 at the time.
  • Fat Girl (2001) featured Roxane fully nude. If born in 1981, she would have been 18-19 during filming. If born in 1986, only 13-14, which is illegal even in France, right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fnordware (talkcontribs) 21:12, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

That link to her "Passport scan" should be deleted as it's revealing Roxane Mesquida's private information on a public website - not to mention publishing an unauthorized government document - which would be illegal in most countries. Maybe it can be emailed to be reviewed and discussed with management for possible future changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.73.121.201 (talk) 22:32, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Got a Wikipedia policy link? I don't think that rule would apply to a talk page or where I got it from: a comment in the change log. Seems like the site that could face legal action would be the company hosting the image, not Wikipedia. Fnordware (talk) 23:57, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
