- Composition is used in several articles, but that's understood as the broad concept, while Tonsatz considers the specific task of setting several voices. Hindemith wrote an important work about it. - Wrong, sorry. It's closer to counterpoint, setting the voices in keeping with rules, - but is not the same.
- Counterpoint has to do with setting different melodies against each other. Don't think so. But I'm learning a few things. I saw your post to "Classical music". Bin gespannt. :-)
