editRobbie Savage's sending off in September 2004 was not for a foul tackle by him but for reacting to a foul on him by Northern Ireland midfielder Michael Hughes. Both Hughes and Savage were sent off but on later review the sending-off of Savage seemed a harsh decision.
Category
editI see Robbie's listed in Category:People from Denbighshire. I'm rather dubious about this as he was born in November 1974 in Wrexham, when the old county of Denbighshire was abolished the previous April; Wrexham was in Clwyd from 1974-1996 and is now in its own County Borough, and not in the recreated Denbighshire. -- Arwel (talk) 11:27, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

End of football career in his underpants?
editOn BBC's Strictly (late November 2011) - I thought I heard Robbie say his football career ended in his underpants. I was looking here for the event / details but see nothing. Does anyone know anything - or did I miss-hear? 82.32.10.195 (talk) 11:16, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
