Year-Round vs. Seasonal edit

Some Rita's are open year-round, while others are open seasonally. I'm going to add this to the article, citing the official Rita's website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.166.26.192 (talk) 18:07, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ice Cream vs. Custard edit

The custard link is at best biased ("creamier") at worst it is misinformation. According to FDA regulations, ice creams with solid additions must contain a minimum of 8 percent milk fat, while plain ice creams must have at least 10 percent milk fat. That would mean that the "custard" needs to have 10 percent milk fat or the article is a lie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spandox (talkcontribs) 17:28, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Clean up edit

I've started to work through some of the promotional language and trivia in this article. Much of the content was written in a heavily promotional tone. Flavor listings and such are trivial, based on the basic concept of never being listed in an independent reliable source.

At the moment, this article is sorely lacking in independent reliable sources. Based on the current sources, I think notability is marginal at best. - SummerPhD (talk) 03:32, 28 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Rita's Water Ice not "Rita's Italian Ice" edit

Per the company's press releases...[1] - SummerPhD (talk) 05:02, 20 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

While it appears it is mostly referred to as simply "Rita's", the name "Rita's Italian Ice" is mentioned many times on the website.
