The Richards Building in 1923
  • ... that the U.S. Secretary of Commerce wrote of the Richards Building, "were there such a function as a public incendiary, these buildings are among the first that should receive his official attention"? Source: [1]

I found topic and text interesting. New, long enough, cited, neutral, qpq done, hook cited, free images. I am yet to verify text. I find hook less interesting and has a long quote in it. Can suggest more hooks? Regards,-Nizil (talk) 08:28, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
The image needs some cropping to look better at 100x100 size. You may add infobox and talkpage if you like, not necessary for DYK. -Nizil (talk) 08:30, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
The quote was the reason I wrote the article. It's not every day that a Cabinet member tells Congress that a government building should be burned down. I can crop the image as needed. John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 17:51, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I think the hook kicks ass, lol. jp×g 03:37, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
OK. Someone else is finding hook very interesting then I am approving it. Hook is cited inline and verified.-Nizil (talk) 04:35, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
The word "incendiary" may be unfamiliar to some people, so I added a wikilink. John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 04:39, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the link. It made it more clear. No copyvio detected. Hook was verified from snippet in Google Books. Please crop the image and I will approve. Regards,-Nizil (talk) 06:37, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Please add location coordinates where it existed, if possible (not necessary for DYK but good for building article).-Nizil (talk) 06:45, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Note: The coordinates for the Longworth House Office Building, constructed on the same piece of land, seem to be 38°53′12.48″N 77°0′30.6″W / 38.8868000°N 77.008500°W / 38.8868000; -77.008500. Maybe we could use these? jp×g 10:03, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Nizil Shah and JPxG: I added my best guess at coordinates and filled out the infobox a bit more. I've also cropped the image. John P. Sadowski (NIOSH) (talk) 21:01, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Cropped image looks good. Thank you for adding coord. I enjoyed reviewing your nomination. Good to go. -Nizil (talk) 05:59, 17 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
