Coal Philippines tour campaign edit

I added this since this article is so bare, and readers do not know what happened to it. And this coal campaign user her is notable. The "Rainbow Warrior" piloted by skipper Mike Fincken, docked at the Legazpi City port in Albay on May 22, 2008 for its one month long "Quit Coal, Save the Climate" Philippines tour and campaign aimed to educate people on the effects of the use of coal on the environment, specifically on climate change. It proposed alternative energy sources such as geothermal and solar energy.Abs-Cbn Interactive, Greenpeace ship visits Legazpi for 'quit coal' campaign --Florentino floro (talk) 09:52, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Peacock term? edit

To say that Greenpeace is an enviromental protection organization is not a peacock term, but just stating the fact. It does not in any way promote Greenpeace, just briefly explains what Greenpeace is. And instead saying that Greenpeace is an enviromental pressure group hardly gives the most truthfull image of Greenpeace, since Greenpeace does do other things than just put pressure on those it sees harmful to the enviroment.Shubi (talk) 21:54, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

This ship has been retired and donated to Bangladesh edit

According to Green Peace, the ship has been retired on August 16, 2011. From other news media reports, the ship has been donated to Bangladesh where it will serve as a floating hospital for coastal regions of Bangladesh. --Ragib (talk) 11:09, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
