This page contains material that is just advertising for a particular vendor. The last section of the article reads: Radio Control over IP (RCoIP) provides the essential signaling and management for voice messages required for Critical Communications and is a step up from Radio over IP (RoIP). RCoIP is designed so that essential messages get through by using confirmed signaling. [1] Catalyst is an innovator in Radio over IP (RoIP) solutions for primary dispatch, backup dispatch, and interoperability.

RCoIP is a proprietary, trademarked term for Catalyst Communications. It is not a standard. Rather, it is enhancements they have added to their own software to provide additional functionality. This section should be removed or edited to clarify that it endorses a particular product. 208.89.201.130 (talk) 19:43, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merge into Voice over IP? edit

Should we merge this into Voice over IP? I'm not sure it's a notable topic on its own. --KJ7RRV (talk) 16:33, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
