The result of the move request was: Moved to Prince Karl Anton of Hohenzollern (born 1868) and Karl Anton, Prince of Hohenzollern (born 1811). The single oppose vote is based primarily on conciseness. Necrothesp's proposal appears to split the difference and is acceptable to the Nom. – These two titles are indistinguishable. I suggest adding dates. Srnec (talk) 00:40, 20 January 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. estar8806 (talk) 18:02, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I assume the intent was to harmonise on one order for the titles at the same time as adding the dates, i.e. both should be of the form Karl Anton, Prince of Hohenzollern (born–died) in line with WP:NCROY. Rosbif73 (talk) 09:41, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, my intention was just to add dates. One is a reigning prince and one not. I do not like how current guidelines handle this distinction, but I have no suggested improvement. Srnec (talk) 16:28, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Comment with a preliminary oppose This is an issue with principalities in general. The leader of the state is a prince but his male relatives are also princes of a different sort. The order of the titles and the hatnotes are sufficient disambiguations in my view, adding a bunch of years to the title mostly serves to make the title longer.
