Ladies of the Garter edit
All of these women are missing from the page List of knights and ladies of the Garter. They had a page of their own but it was decided to merge the content to this page once their article was deleted. It was never done so I've been adding them gradually. I've had to check what their title was at the exact year when they were awarded and titles they acquired later to match the criteria of the page. It's a tedious and delicate thing to do but it's done to avoid anachronisms and mistakes.
Under Richard II
- No 28 1390 Joan, Lady Fitzwalter. Daughter of John, Lord Devereux, K.G. Married 1st Sir Walter Fitzwalter, afterwards Lord Fitzwalter; 2ndly as his third wife, Hugh, 2nd Lord Burnell, K.G.
Either Richard II or Henry IV, 1399 had two kings, will have to check
- No 30 1399 Catherine, Duchess of Gueldres. Daughter of Albert, Count of Holland, K.G. Married William, Duke of Gueldres and Juliers, K.G.
- No 31 1399 Joan, Duchess of York. Daughter of Thomas (Holland), 2nd Earl of Kent, K.G. Married 1st Edmund of Langley, Duke of York, K.G.; 2ndly William, Lord Willoughby de Eresby, K.G.; 3rdly Henry, Lord Scrope of Masham; 4thly Henry (Bromflete), Lord Vesey.
