Fair use rationale for Image:TTC-Logo.png edit

Image:TTC-Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:40, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notable staff edit

Dr. Ma Tin Win is a well-known professor from the Institute of Education but she does not directly belong to TTC itself. It is not appropriate to include Dr. Ma Tin Win in this section despite her outstanding achievements. This section should be about the teachers who teach or taught Kindergarten through 10th standard students in TTC. I would be in favor of removing the sentence about Dr. Ma Tin Win from this section. Depends on the activities she did during her presence at TTC, and now notable they are. If she worked and contributed to TTC, she indeed belonged to TTC at that time, and certainly deserves mention. If not, then feel free to remove it yourself. --ZettaiBaka (talk) 12:48, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Excessive praise and little substance edit

There is too much fanatical praise here and no substance on exactly what makes this school so remarkable. I might as well write what my younger sister told me about how terrible this school's education system is, and put her name as a citation. Compare this to the Dagon-1 article and see the stark difference in quality. All the vague stuff about TTC being the "best" with its "disciplines" and "morals" need to be removed and replaced with organized facts.

Also, why is some unknown student's Geocities website being used as a reference? I have looked at that website, and it is nothing more than a fansite and a big advertisement -- hardly a quality source for a Wikipedia article. That link and its related content should be removed from this article. --ZettaiBaka (talk) 12:39, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nut-job vandalized article edit

Some nutjob changed many things about the article. Like, the whole-Burma list for top ten each had a digit inserted to become top hundred, one of the athletes re-labelled as SEA games cyber sex champion and toilet cleaner, and TTC students as working at McDs, sushi restaurants, etc.

NO VANDALISM ALLOWED edit

If you're not a TTC student and are not happy with the contents of the TTC's wikipedia article, dispute it and discuss it here. Otherwise, don't make any changes to the article written by TTC students - it's none of your business. If you do, I'll do it to yours like Dagon-1 or others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mgluyoe (talkcontribs) 11:54, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

TTC students don't own Wikipedia, and neither do you. Anyone can edit any Wikipedia article. Don't make immature threats. --ZettaiBaka (talk) 12:31, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality and Sources or References edit

There is always criticism about lack of sources and references when inputing data into the article about Burma. It could be due to less publication and censorship in Burma, we understand that sources are difficult to find (even TTC itself does not have own webpage), so we use to write with the best superior knowledge that we may have from experience. But why can't we cite more reference and avoid from less reliability? any other comments??? Kwantonge (talk) 01:37, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add personal blogs here edit

Anyone can edit wikipedia. But that doesn't mean anyone can add anything to wikipedia. For TTC students who have been adding advertising or praising contents, please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources, Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. If you all continue to do so, I have no choice but report to ANI. 203.81.67.182 (talk) 09:37, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

TTC changed its name and has been completely moved to Department of Basic Education edit

In late 2021, the name in school sign board has been changed, the word ရန်ကုန်ပညာရေးတက္ကသိုလ် (Yangon University of Education) was replaced by the word အခြေခံပညာဦးစီးဌာန (Department of Basic Education). The name also changed in question papers, report cards, etc. နေနီဝန်း (talk) 11:36, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
