Polyp → Polyp (animal) – Polyp (medicine) is no less important of a topic, so the base title should be disambiguated. King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 04:00, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

• Support per views [[1]] which show that the medicine gets nearly double but wouldn't Polyp (zoology) be better since the medicine one is also an animal topic and Commons uses "zoology" to disambiguate. Crouch, Swale (talk) 13:04, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
• Support I would go with "(zoology)" if only because one generally uses "(animal)" to disambiguate a specific type or taxon with that particular name, and not a general form.--Mr Fink (talk) 13:49, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Taxonomy?

The taxonomy needs to be added. Koro Neil (talk) 11:00, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Please explain why. The majority of cnidarians have a polyp as a stage in their lifecycle.--Mr Fink (talk) 23:20, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
