FW 6.20 edit

I have news on this firmware. It is coming at the end of the month. Will be 1MB in size. The only features I know are support for the digital comic app, and a new main Icon on the XMB named "Extras". Am I allowed to update this now, or do i have to wait until it is released?

3.60 edit

I think there is more about the update.(3.60) I am having internet problems (search engine wont load) so I can't see for myself. Just a heads up.

   It's most likely been fixed in the latest versions. (3.70-3.71) ShinraiTS4 05:28, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It has been released. Derjo (talk) 04:18, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No it hasn't. It's not on Network Update. So what's your source? Λύκος 05:05, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
My source, is that my PSP currently runs FW 4.00. Derjo (talk) 02:46, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
It is out NOW, but it wasn't on Network Update at the time. Maybe they took it down for a few hours? Either way, it's moot. Λύκος 02:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

FW 3.73 edit

sony have released another firmware update, for now, it can only be downloaded via the network update on the psp, site updates expected shortly Dar-zero (talk) 14:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dar-zero is correct. [1] has the latests updates listed along with the date the update was released, which is 1129 (November 29) right now. Examining the EBOOT, it is indeed 3.73. ~ Oni Lukos ct 19:06, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Article concerns edit

This article (as well as the other system software articles) seem to lean strongly towards: What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_directory and Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_an_indiscriminate_collection_of_information. The content is useful, but listing every little update isn't useful in my view. RobJ1981 (talk) 04:59, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Honestly, I'm surprised this article exists in the first place. I wouldn't be opposed to deleting it. ~ Oni Lukos ct 05:07, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

date changing getting ridiculous now edit

right i'm fed up with seeing people constantly changing the 'release date' of system software updates. think we need to go by whatever the date is on the UK website is, as UTC is GMT/BST anyway it'd make sense that its based on the UTC date, or wherever you think. That way it cannot be argued as it is set by concencus. chocobogamer mine 18:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
