FW 6.20

I have news on this firmware. It is coming at the end of the month. Will be 1MB in size. The only features I know are support for the digital comic app, and a new main Icon on the XMB named "Extras". Am I allowed to update this now, or do i have to wait until it is released?

I think there is more about the update.(3.60) I am having internet problems (search engine wont load) so I can't see for myself. Just a heads up.

find proof that fw 4.00 was released on the 20 March, 2008 and the section will be added again, until then, it is just rumour and speculation.

Dar-zero is correct. [1] has the latests updates listed along with the date the update was released, which is 1129 (November 29) right now. Examining the EBOOT, it is indeed 3.73. ~ Oni Lukos _ct 19:06, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Article concerns

This article (as well as the other system software articles) seem to lean strongly towards: What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_directory and Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_an_indiscriminate_collection_of_information. date changing getting ridiculous now

right i'm fed up with seeing people constantly changing the 'release date' of system software updates. think we need to go by whatever the date is on the UK website is, as UTC is GMT/BST anyway it'd make sense that its based on the UTC date, or wherever you think. That way it cannot be argued as it is set by concencus. chocobogamer mine 18:07, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

I heard of a glitch on firmware 6.31 that makes the memeory stick you updated with unreadable. is this true?

Forgive my asking, but the operating system written from scratch or is it based on some existing operating system? E.g. PlayStation 4 system software is based on FreeBSD 9.0 User:ScotXW^t@lk 18:04, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
