Current construction?

edit

What is the current construction on the courthouse? A quick googling didn't show anything, but the entire west face is covered in scaffolding. Tedder (talk) 05:40, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{editsemiprotected}} In describing the first preservation effort, the word "was" needs to be added in between "timing" and "bad."

So it would look like: (without Caps of course)

Martin immediately replied that the timing WAS bad since Oregon was asking for funding of the Bonneville Dam, and it was likely illegal to donate a post office to a city. Aphillips15 (talk) 23:59, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

The article states that Doyle opposed the plan to demolish the building in 1933, but Doyle died in 1928. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.189.91.63 (talk) 16:11, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{edit semi-protected}} delete | location = 555 S.W. Yamhill Street, Portland, Oregon add correct address = 700 S.W. Sixth Avenue, Portland, Oregon During the 2003-2005 renovation, the main entrance to the building became the west side facing Pioneer Courthouse Square. The address was changed in 2005 to reflect this orientation. (Please note that the address on GSA's website for the Pioneer Courthouse has not been updated to reflect this fact. I am Robert M. Walch, Senior Deputy Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals and was the Court's project manager for the 2003-2005 project. My office is located in the Pioneer Courthouse and I am the source of this information.)
