Talk:Paycheck Protection Program

Merging information from a draft article into this article

edit

I created the article PPP Extension Act of 2021 (which is about proposed legislation in the 117th United States Congress of the same name, that would extend the Paycheck Protection Program by a few months), which Wikipedia editor John B123 moved to the draftspace at Draft:PPP Extension Act of 2021 since it did not have any sources and was not a very complete article. I then made som signifigant edits to that draft to make it more complete before submitting it for review. I got a review for it from WikiProject Articles for creation participant Dan ardnt who suggested the draft be merged with this article, which I definitely think would be a good idea.

However, before doing so, I want to do two things, see if other editors of this article think the information in that draft should be merged into this article, and if so, where in the article the information should go. Perhaps the information in the draft could be added to the legislative history section? It seems to be the only section in this article that references laws (such as the CARES Act) that relate to the Paycheck Protection Program that created the program, altered it in some way and/or extended the program.

Edit: No one has replied to this discussion and its been weeks since I posted this. I am going to add this information to this article myself where I feel it fits best.

PPP is now over; tense should be changed to past tense

edit

Tense of all the sentences should be changed.

The PPP is over for new applicants.

The prosecution of the fraud will continue.
