- Article would significantly benefit from WP:RS references and in line citations. FeatherPluma (talk) 21:15, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Internally inconsistent
edit"The iconic Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam built in 1980, becomes the company's second hotel... ...The Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam celebrates its 110-year anniversary." — Preceding unsigned comment added by FeatherPluma (talk • contribs) 2012-06-17T21:16:30 (UTC)
- As it was unsourced COI content, i chopped it entirely. The content of that hotel and "the company" refer to PPHE Hotel Group, not the brand Park Plaza nor the brand owner Park Plaza International, so better mentioned in PPHE Hotel Group. Matthew hk (talk) 00:17, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
Minnesota
editThis is in the Minnesota based categories and I don't see anything to support that.--WondoMathias (talk) 00:06, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
- Removed. Carlson Companies as well as Carlson Hotels were founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but now based in Minnetonka, a suburb of Minnesota (or twin cities) metro area. However, we don't know the headquarter of Park Plaza actually is. Matthew hk (talk) 00:15, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
COI problem
editThe brand is owned by Radisson Hotel Group not PPHE Hotel Group. However, the article was flooded with COI edits that related to PPHE Hotel Group, making the article are full of wrong information that promoting PPHE Hotel Group. Matthew hk (talk) 15:52, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Corporate structure
editGoogled result shown a master thesis that claiming Carlson in fact acquired a 100 years master franchise rights of the brand only. As well as Carlson at that time only owned Park Hospitality, with press release clearly stating Park Plaza Worldwide is another legal entity, is that possible to dig out secondary reliable source to cover the complex financial licensing and franchise of the brand, or sorting out the relationship of the following legal persons that are mentioned in the press release and news report?
- Park Plaza International Hotels, Inns and Resorts
- Park Hotels International, LLC (R08435539 of Arizona, unknown № in Delaware, unknown current name)
- Park Holdings LLC (no matching record in Arizona)
- Park Plaza Worldwide, LLC (R08728526 of Arizona, unknown № in Delaware, unknown current name),
- Park Plaza International, LLC (R08881636) = Olympus Hospitality Group, LLC (R08881636 of Arizona, 2808586 of Delaware), incorporated in 1997
- Park Hospitality (live subsidiary of Carlson Hotel Group in 2017)
- Also, it seem the founder had a court case related. https://casetext.com/case/sultan-v-read
