Reasons for deletion edit
This page is a mess and a mixture of different trains. And is really "Skåne Commuter rail" a commuter system ? Any source for this ? A better label would be "Scanian Local Trains (Pågatåg)" and should then deal with what's locally known as "Pågatåg". Sure some commuter uses these trains, but number of irregular passengers are not to forget. Peak hour enforcing is weak, and doesn't apply to every line. Many commuters uses the Oresundtrain instead, even if they not travel to Denmark. Suggestions 1. Delete thisarticle 2. keep Oresundtrain article, and perhaps update it and improve it. 3. New article about "Scanian Local Trains (Pågatåg)" that only deals with that subject. 4. Improve the article "Scania" with a chapeter about all train types in Scania including links to Oresundtrain and the new Scanian Local Train article. Again this is a total mess. Skåne Commuter Rail → Pågatågen – The actual Swedish name of these trains. No alternative English term with official status seems to exist. - Support. "Skåne Commuter Rail" seems to be some kind of half-hearted, homebrew mix of English and Swedish. Alas, Skåne's local rail services have yet to win such fame in the anglosphere that they get their own new "English" name; so I'm happy to go along with the name used by most sources: Pågatågen. bobrayner (talk) 18:22, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Improvements - but.. edit
The article has been improved, no doubts about that. But I would still suggest a better name. The concept of "Commuter Rail" is usually transport of commuters between remote suburbs into a major city. This isn't the case with the "Pågatåg". The concept of "Pågatåg" is to connect different towns with each other. The trains do not belong to any specific city. And the railway branches are much of a triangle, Lund - Helsingborg - Hässleholm - Lund etc, and connections Lund - Malmö - Ystad/Simrishamn, Helsingborg-Ängelholm and Hässleholm - Kristianstad. Further the lines are infact only time tables in reality. This gets obvious if following the train number. Some trains that "Skånetrafiken" introduces in time tables of the Ystad/Simrishamn branch actually continue after Malmö C , under a different time table. So it's very difficult to refer to any real lines. Perhaps not the most imperative issue, but the trains are regional- or local- trains. Suggestion - rename article to "Scanian local railways" or "Scanian regional railways". I prefer the first since Oresundtrain are (inter-)regional trains, and they do stop at rather small villages (Tågarp, Billeberga, Köpingebro, Mörarp etc). - I agree, but we should not use the word railway for trains. On the issue whether to use "Skåne" or "Scania", the Wikipedia policy seems to be use the English name, for example Munich S-Bahn and Gothenburg commuter rail. So use the name "Scania local trains". A commuter rail article should be named after a city, since commuter rail are city suburb trains, that is "Malmö commuter rail", but that is not a correct description, since many don't have Malmö in either end of their journeys.--BIL (talk) 07:02, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
