Norwegian Wood → Norwegian Wood (disambiguation) — Primary topic is Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown), and most readers are looking for the song, most commonly referred to as simply "Norwegian Wood". This is reflected by the fact that all of the entries to current articles of the same name listed in this dab page refer to the song. Hatnote to disambiguation page should be placed at the top of the song article. After the proposed move is complete, "Norwegian Wood" should redirect to Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown). - Oppose Many users of Wikipedia will no doubt be searching for Haruki Murakami's novel and its recent film adaptation. - Support, and also support moving the article on the Beatles' song to undisambiguated Norwegian Wood. No evidence that there's anything lasting in the current flurry of interest in the film, and hence in the book as well. If this solidifies into long-term interest then revisit whether the song remains the primary topic at a later date; It's of course possible, but unlikely. Current article on the song reads in part Rolling Stone ranked it #83 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Quite independent of this, there's also significant interest in the use of the sitar in this song, see the article; This seemingly minor aspect led directly to sitar music becoming a major influence on the music and also life stories of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Norwegian Wood (disambiguation) → Norwegian Wood – Currently, Norwegian Wood is a redirect to the song Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown). However, this article receives less than a quarter of all page views, and the novel alone receives twice as many page views as the song. Also, three quarters of the readers who search for "Norwegian Wood" apparently end up clicking through to the dab page [1]. The song is clearly not the primary topic with respect to usage, and it's not the primary topic with respect to long-term significance either: the fact that the names of the other entries ultimately go back to the song is irrelevant, and the concerns about recentisms expressed in the previous RM, albeit reasonable at the time (the RM occurred a year after the film was released), are hardly germane anymore given that the main primary topic contender is a book published 30 years ago. – Uanfala (talk) 23:24, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

- Weak support Based on the fact that "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" is the actual name of the Beetles song even though it is the original in respect to the other, the page views show indeed that the Beetles song is clearly not primary by usage.
