Big Up To Creator Of This Page
editHey, I am the writer for one of the articles you quoted (reference #13). I'm so glad you were able to locate it, because the original Upstage Magazine site has been taken down. Nice job! Schneile (talk) 20:03, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Taking out "Concert Tours"
editI'm removing the Concert Tours section for a couple of reasons. 1. Some of the info in there didn't even refer to tours, e.g. being cast in that movie, and the guest appearances at the Garden and on Late Night. 2. I think Atkins has been "around" long enough now that her individual tours and concert appearances would be unnecessary to list. She has indeed appeared with a great many artists (Springsteen last December being the most famous), and will no doubt continue to indefinitely. Seems unnecessary to list each one, or to have to pick which ones are worth listing. It will wind up cluttering the article. I moved the info about her movie work and recent albums to a new "Recent Work" section, and hopefully, as she wraps up her second album, we'll have more to write about in there.Terrapin7 (talk) 19:16, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Reads like Self-Promotion
editThis article is, for the most part, extremely well-written and sourced, but it is also written exactly like promotional material for an up-and-coming musician. The "Television Appearances" reads especially like a resume. See Wikipedia guideline: WP:SELFPROMOTE. Johnny "ThunderPeel2001" Walker (talk) 11:47, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
- I have removed the "Television Appearances" section, which read more like a resume than an Encyclopedia article. I have also integrated the "Influenced by David Lynch" section to the main body, where other influences are listed. I also removed information on the life of David Lynch from the article, as, again, it seemed more like it was there to try and promote a superficial similarity between Atkins and Lynch.Johnny "ThunderPeel2001" Walker (talk) 11:56, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
