The result of the move request was: Not moved. Consensus that the player's Brazillian mononym is "Neto". Furthermore, consensus is that this style is consistent with other Brazilian players.  — Amakuru (talk) 21:07, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Neto (footballer, born 1989)Norberto Murara Neto – Neto is only the surname. The full name is Norberto Murara Neto. 0716pyhao (talk) 03:41, 10 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose move. Brazilian footballers often use mononymous names, and Neto in particular uses his surname mononymously.  ONR  (talk)  18:33, 11 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose as above. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 20:59, 11 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment. Those mononyms make up a huge potential for confusion – there are also Neto (footballer, born 1985) and arguably the most famous Neto (footballer) (born 1966), but then, WP:PARTIALDAB should apply. Those birth years are terrible disambiguators, and IMO they should only be used as last resort. And I'm sure there are other mononymic Netos listed at Neto (disambiguation)... such as Darcy Dolce Neto. I'm inclined to Support and apply WP:NATURAL across the field and disambiguate them by their full names: readers are not particularly well served with those (born 19xx) titles either, and more information can be added to the dab page to facilitate searching. No such user does bring up some interesting points. Notifying the page mover for his thoughts. @Italia2006: Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:52, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Vehemently oppose - this is simply the same as most other Brazilian footballers. He's referred to almost exclusively as Neto. Italia2006 (talk) 18:33, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
