World War II service
editAlthough Barcliff served in the United States Army during the World War II era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas in a war zone during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of World War II was removed from the article. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 01:34, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
- I think overseas service is irrelevant in this context - surely a colonel pushing paper in the Pentagon and a contemporary dancer are as much veterans as a cook on a USSAF air base in Suffolk. No Swan So Fine (talk) 16:37, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
