Tone of biography section
editThe tone of the biography section comes across as being quite biased. I'm especially wary of these last few sentences:
His mild mannerism, "Stand against corruption" and "Pro-poor policies" have resulted in the development of a huge support base in Odisha, which has voted him to power in the last five consecutive terms. Like his father, he has managed to control the bureaucracy and transformed it into a machine for the development of the state. His spartan personal lifestyle and detachment from material possessions has been liked by the people of the state.
Could somebody with more experience editing pages let me know if this is indeed outside what would be considered impartial? Zeebo7 (talk) 10:37, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
Suggestions for Improvement: Add Programs and Policy
editThis article provides some biographical information and lists elections. It needs more content in what programs or actions he took as chief minister such as hunger alleviation, women’s self-help groups, universal health coverage, power distribution privatization and the 5T program[1]. More details can be found at List of schemes of the government of Odisha.

The political neutrality of this article is disputed. This article may contain biased or partisan political opinions about a political party, event, person or government stated as facts. |

Jagannath temple work The 75-metre-wide historic corridor surrounding the temple contains a green buffer zone, a welcome space for 6,000 devotees, the Jagannath Ballav pilgrim centre, multi-level parking, a designated pedestrian route, and public convenience zones.
The project, which was first announced in December 2019, was delayed owing to the pandemic and the National Monuments Authority’s (NMA) issuing of draft by-laws for the temple in January 2021, which barred any building within the temple’s 100-metre perimeter. However, the bylaws were withdrawn at the request of the Chief Minister.
Similarly, in June of last year, the Supreme Court dismissed two PILs opposing the rehabilitation project, calling them “frivolous litigation”.
