Oppose. Basically the same name as Muktar Ali, Bangladeshi international cricketer, and the redirect already points there. — Amakuru (talk) 18:05, 17 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Support Even though they are very similar, they do have different names. They should both have a hatnote per WP:SIMILAREvertonfc13 (talk) 18:22, 17 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Support This is what hatnotes are for. Number57 12:18, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are a couple sources saying that Mukhtar was born in Mecca1, 2, while there are other sources such as this that say he was born in Mogadishu. So which one is it? Inter&anthro (talk) 16:23, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

There are constant attempts by Saudi chauvinists to deny his Somali background in this article. Nobody denies Mukhtar's right to play for whatever national teams he has opted for, including his ancestral Somalia (alongside Saudi Arabia and England) and it was his choice to opt for Saudi Arabia. But denying his ethnicity clearly demonstrate racism. HiddenFace101 (talk) 07:01, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
