One of the amazing things about this building, especially from a post-9/11 perspective, is that it was designed "with large glass walls proudly showcasing what was going on inside" [1] to facilitate public viewing of the reactor operation; it had a glass perimeter and no barriers at all that I'm aware of. This would make a great DYK hook. - Brianhe (talk) 07:04, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
- I've added it to the DYK nomination. Thanks for bringing it up. SounderBruce 07:45, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
- Note how at 0:20 in the PreserveWA video you can see an early Volkswagen Beetle parked right up against the foundation of the building? They'd call that a pretty big hazard for anything on campus nowadays, let alone a nuclear reactor. - Brianhe (talk) 23:47, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
