The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

King Carol II Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen of Romania was burried here from 1953 until 2003. I think this is an interesting fact and worth mentioning (having a foreign monarch burried here). Also he was a nephew of Manuel II.
Should it be added?

This brief section begins, "In 1834, after the religious orders were dissolved in Portugal" ... That sounds like something important enough to have its own article, where will we find it so we can understand what this means? 50.0.121.95 (talk) 14:08, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
1. The damage done by the 1755 earthquake to the building, as well as the nearly century of repair required to fix it.
2. The *reason* for the transportation of St. Vincent's bones from Cabo Sao Vincent to the monastery. Afonso did this to further enshrine Christianity.
