Portugal To-do:

Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

Improve key articles to Good article

  • Category:History of Portugal: lots to remove there
  • Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Request for help with DraftEdit

Hi! After posting on the Teahouse about this draft that I was working on, they gave the advice that I should ask help from the relevant WikiProject. I'm not in any way an expert on the era this person lived in, and I'm not experienced with editing, so maybe you guys could try add some sources to the article (most of the mentions I found on the internet were from books)? Thanks, Vortex (talk) 13:03, 23 June 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I was wondering if someone could confirm at Talk:Nelson Piquet#About Hamilton what the English translation of "neguinho" is, as we are not 100% sure. Thanks. SSSB (talk) 19:05, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

Two articlesEdit

A most bizarre situation has developed involving the pages Battle of Benadir and Battle of Barawa, where for the past four years Somalian nationalists, sockpuppets and unregistered users have persistently sought to rewrite these pages about two minor Portuguese raids on the east African coast into astounding Somalian victories, written in poor English, against all evidence, removing sources and sourced material, despite numerous locks or bans by administrators even. Vandalism inevitably continues once protection wears off, and I thought I'd put this out there because so far almost nobody else has helped to take care of the issue and it's starting to drive me nuts. I already appealed for a permanent lock once but nobody answered my request. Wareno (talk) 06:05, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
