Age
editWhile we should not provide Davis's birthdate, we should give her age (she's 13, according to this article). I would have added it myself but wasn't sure where best to put it. John M Baker (talk) 05:03, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- Done According to that article, she turned 13 two month earlier (June of 2014), which means she was born in 2001. So, I added (c. 2001). I am One of Many (talk) 16:57, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- Why? Is that some sort of official Wikipedia policy? If so, it is not consistently followed. --SVTCobra (talk) 17:03, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think it is, but in her case, her age was an essential part of her notability. --I am One of Many (talk) 00:53, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- I mean, why not include her exact birth date if it publicly known. Right now it looks weird ... like nobody is sure if she's 13 or 14. --SVTCobra (talk) 01:17, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- I haven't looked for a while. If you have a reliable source, maybe you could fix it? --I am One of Many (talk) 03:03, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Tone of the article.
editMuch of this reads like a fan page, guys. Her accomplishments are plenty special enough without editorializing like this - quoting someone calling her the "best new thing in the world", talking about the crowd cheering every time she pitches or bats, an entire section speculating on what her future impact might be, etc. Most of the article is fairly solid, but the majority of the content within and after the media/celebrity section is completely unnecessary. 96.237.146.23 (talk) 23:58, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
