Please discuss unusual formatting
editFormatting introduced by Grablife5 introduced multiple formatting and syntax errors into this page. There were many unclosed and misnested formatting tags. We do not need big text formatting applied to regular text. We don't use bold in image captions (see MOS:BOLD). Lists of years should go in chronological order, from oldest at the top to newest at the bottom (see MOS).
Please discuss any proposed changes before introducing formatting that is out of compliance with Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:26, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- To improve the page layout I think all the photos could be reduced to standard thumbnail size. Some of the "list-like" content could possibly be arranged into tables. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 17:18, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- The article is an utter mess of very poorly referenced conflicting, promotional content, it really needs reducing to a stub, unless some clarity can be introduced by reliable sources. Theroadislong (talk) 20:55, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Mid-American Stock cars → Mid-American Stock Car Series – I am requesting some help in switching the page name back to Mid-American Stock Car Series or Mid-Am Racing Series for accuracy. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. - Mid-Am Racing Series is how their website styles it. Absent stronger COMMONNAME evidence, I think a move to this name might be okay. But it does seem to be the case that some sources omit "series" from the name. And without a qualifying "stock cars", the name is a bit too much of an Easter egg. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 01:55, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

- Support Rename as Mid-Am Racing Series per their website and Facebook page. I looked for additional independent reliable sources and I didn't come up with much. What I did find was Speed 51, a national racing media, has a category for the series under this name. Royalbroil 15:44, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
