- Roniius This nomination requires a QPQ review to be done. Please do one when you get a chance. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:58, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Full review needed now that QPQ has been supplied. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:37, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- The article is new enough to pass, has 8,261 characters — higher than the required 1,500 characters, is neutral, has an adequete amount of in-line citations, and doesn't have any major problems with copyright violations. Quid pro quo is satisfied. As for the the hooks, I believe ALT 1 would be the better hook as I believe its information would be more interesting to a broad audience. It is neutral and I can definately verify the information as true as it is cited to an accessible source. However, I do believe that before finishing off the review that the hook be slightly rewritten to clarify that he declined an offer to be Prime Minister, not just that he didn't want to be a potential one. - ALT 2: ... that Michita Sakata declined an offer to be Prime Minister of Japan because he thought the role was too political? Purnendra, Jain (2018). - Proposed ALT2 is good. Roniiustalk to me 07:29, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Alright, ALT 2 can be approved then. Lazman321 (talk) 13:23, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- The new hook needs to be approved by an independent reviewer due to the new fact ("declined") incorporated by the original reviewer in their ALT 2 proposal. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:59, 20 July 2021 (UTC) (expanded at 00:40, 21 July 2021 (UTC))
- Alt2 looks interesting to me. The article passes DYKCheck and there are no copyright issues. QPQ has been provided. I've no access to T&F, so I assume good faith on that. Good to go. ─ The Aafī (talk) 12:32, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
