MERS

edit

Since the acronym MERS has become rather common, referring to the respiratory syndrome, due to its frequent appearance in the news nowadays, perhaps it ought to point directly to that page, with a link to the disambiguation page appearing there. 172.56.26.132 (talk) 14:12, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: Speedy close. The nomination rationale does not even apply to two of the three nominated entries. WP:NPASR for a well-formed request. King of 00:51, 27 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Mers (disambiguation)Mers – Mers is currently a primary redirect to Middle East respiratory syndrome. However, there is no primary topic for that space; the syndrome has an argument based on usage as MERS, while the Mer community, also called Mers, have an argument based on long term significance, being up to a thousand years old and numbering 250,000 people. As such, it seems appropriate to replace the redirect with this disambiguation page. BilledMammal (talk) 09:28, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
