Adding text and pics about all the contributing properties in this historic district would be welcomed. --doncram (talk) 14:34, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I just added two. I thought I took more, but apparently not. (Actually, I did take more, then got home to write them up, and saw I was looking at the list of properties to identify candidates for pictures, and missed that the list included NC properties, so I have a couple pics of NC properties. Oh well.--SPhilbrickT 15:00, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Would any of your other photos be good candidates for illustrating the article Marion, Connecticut? --Orlady (talk) 17:04, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
(Not adding much, but chiming in): It's usually relatively more important to include photos of Contributing properties, but photos of NC ones can be included too. Or they can be used to illustrate the Marion, Connecticut article. I usually now make sure to try to take pics of non-historical places in a given town/village that are actually located outside of an included historic district, to provide for the town/village article. --doncram (talk) 19:36, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
The two other pictures I have are of non-descript houses in Marion. With a stretch, one could add them as typical homes in the area, but that begs a bit of OR. Orlady, if I get some time (I should have some time this week, perhaps I can upload them, and see what you think, we can always remove them if not useful.
To Doncram, I do have an NC picture in Southington, of the BPOE building. I think you have some interested in such organizations, but maybe I've misread.--SPhilbrickT 21:07, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sure, i am main developer so far of List of Elks buildings. If the BPOE building is a contributing property in a historic district, it would surely be fine to just add a row for it, with your pic, into that list article. Probably even if not a contributing property, but then maybe not with a redlink on the name of the building, so as to provide less suggestion that an article is needed. Discuss further at Talk:List of Elks buildings? Thanks! --doncram (talk) 21:25, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you care to upload your photos, I'll be happy to take a look. I'm not actually familiar with this community, though. --Orlady (talk) 21:59, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
