The articles do say that. Margaret's father, Alexander III of Scotland, had three children: Margaret of Scotland, Queen of Norway, born 28 February 1261; Alexander, Prince of Scotland, born 21 January 1264; and David. born 20 March 1272. All predeceased their father: David in 1281, Margaret in 1283, and Alexander in 1284, with Alexander III dying in 1286. Hence, Margaret of Scotland, Queen of Norway, was heir presumptive between her birth in 1261 and 1284, when Prince Alexander, the heir-apparent, was born. Given that, plus the fact Margaret did not inherit the throne, and she falls into Category:Non-inheriting heirs presumptive. ₪MIESIANIACAL 19:15, 1 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
