In the referenced interview he said (translated) "I have both norwegian and swedish citizenship, and I feel both norwegian and swedish. I'm proud to be able to represent both Sweden and Norway in space", I would therefore argue he is of dual-nationality in addition to his citizenship. He is the first norwegian citizen in space, I would argue that is notable. Furthermore, that rule includes "In cases of public or relevant dual citizenship", if you want him named as "Swedish and Norwegian" that's one thing but removing the well-sourced reference appears counter to the rule and how he describes himself in the sourced material (including the source you removed). @Sundhaug92: Having a Norwegian mother doesn't make one notable. His astronaut career has not been affected by his Norwegian origin, he is educated and trained in Sweden. Wandt is a lieutenant in the Swedish Air Force and not an employee of the Norwegian Armed Forces, he has no career in Norway. Calming that he is a Swedish-Norwegian test pilot is misleading to the readers and goes against our guidelines. Any references to his Norwegian background belongs in the private life sections and not the lead section. Shellwood (talk) 22:41, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Shellwood: I would agree that having a norwegian mother doesn't in itself make one notable, that's why I'm not proposing making the introductory sentence "Marcus Wandt (born September 22, 1980) is a man with a Norwegian mom". Claiming he is Swedish-Norwegian test-pilot isn't misleading when he has dual-citizenship and dual-nationality (and is a test-pilot, though I guess now it could be changed to "astronaut" but that's a separate discussion). A reference to his norwegian background does belong in the lead section when he is the first norwegian citizen in space. Sundhaug92 (talk) 14:57, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Source 1 and 8 seems to be the same. I've looked at the source-code in the editor and from what I can see it's the same ref, and it's listed as the same in the visual editor, but in read-mode it shows as two different. Could someone more experienced clean it up? Sundhaug92 (talk) 21:32, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
