Orphaned references in MapleStory
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of MapleStory's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

The game publisher in China has been changed to Shengqu Games instead of Shanda, please update the publisher. RedAstray (talk) 06:09, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

Updates
editA lot of what is on this page was retrieved WAY back in 2011. It DESPERATELY needs updates! 5th job, anything about Arcane River area, 3 new classes, and HUGE breakthroughs in the story of the Black Mage have been made that need to be addressed for the page to stay relevant! It is the FIRST result that pops up on Google when you search "Maplestory," so it should be up to date. Zephiox (talk) 17:25, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

editPosted this on the other editor's talk page but thought i should mention here as well that i think a lot of detail on maplestory music is pretty interesting and cool to note. the music is also pretty iconic. i'd like to propose for that info to get it's own page instead? I've moved the bit to the end of the development section, as it doesn't really say anything about gameplay or how it adds changes to the game (and I'm not familiar with MapleStory, I've checked out the Nexon update, but that's complete gibberish to me!). Small note: try to avoid time-sensitive words and phrases like "recently" and "coming soon" and use precise language.
