Fair use rationale for Image:LBW.jpg
editImage:LBW.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:59, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Some LCMS congregations have used the LBW
editIt's not widespread, but some LCMS congregations have used the LBW. I visited one about five years ago that used it, in addition to a worship bulletin from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.--MarshallStack 04:20, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
The last two sentances aren't ture
editLots of congregations still use the green book. I've never seen the one it says replaced it. So I think those lines should be removed unless someone can give me a valid reson for them being there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Casey QuestionMark (talk • contribs) 07:02, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
http://www.elca.org/ScriptLib/CO/ELCA_News/encArticleList.asp?article=3570 is one article that states that the cranberry book replaced the green book. jonathon (talk) 07:53, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- The article you linked no longer exists - presumably it referred to publishing. Lutheran churches themselves will at some point perhaps consider using the cranberry books, but I've not seen one yet, myself. I only see the green hymnal, sometimes also with "With One Voice." The original poster's assertion (that the last two lines of this article are false) seems valid. --Connel MacKenzie - wikt 22:55, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- How are false? ELW is the current primary hymnal. That doesn't mean every congregation uses it. KitHutch (talk) 03:47, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- This article says ELW is the current primary worship resource. http://www.elca.org/Growing-In-Faith/Worship/Resources/ELCA-Worship-Books/ELW.aspx KitHutch (talk) 03:52, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
Supplement
editNo love for the 1991 Maroon Supplement? We used it with the LBW for years. I agree it doesn't deserve its own page, but if WOV gets a mention, shouldn't the Maroon Supplement? 128.194.23.160 (talk) 00:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- Was the "maroon" supplement an official publication of the ELCA? Or was it something put out by independent publishers? KitHutch (talk) 00:56, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
