Duret and Achille de Harlay edit
"At first he was trained in academic disciplines by a private tutor, French magistrate Achilles Harlay, who took him under his wing because he demonstrated talent in many academic fields," - Actually, it was the other way round. Duret, nine years older than Harlay, was the latter's tutor: "et il donna la première preuve de ses talents en formant l'éducation d'Achille de Harlay, qui avait été confiée à ses soins" ["and he gave the first proof of his talents by educating Achille de Harlay, who had been entrusted to his care."] -Biographie Universelle_, p. 367 - Eroica (talk) 11:22, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
