Reception edit

Can we really conclude that the reception was largely negative based on a single western source?

AnimeNfo.com blacklisted? edit

I didn't know specifically why AnimeNfo was blacklisted. Why is this so? Please provide an explanation. --Animeronin (talk) 08:20, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I haven't heard of this, maybe concept the wikiProject, maybe an issue at another page set a precident for that. Tyciol (talk) 04:46, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yeah. Someone would hopefully cite it here. -Animeronin (talk) 15:05, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
It was added because User:AnmaFinotera[1][2] believes it violates Wikipedia's copyright policy. Although I would disagree since the site doesn't link to any copyrighted files and all the images on the site is well within fair use. -- ZinnKid (Talk | contribs) 16:33, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for citing that fact. Never knew there was a violation of that sort. --Animeronin (talk) 02:46, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

First ever? edit

The source listing this as the 'first hentai/pornographic OVA' is a 'comment' on AnimeNewsNetwork. Is this a valid enough source to be making this claim? Anyone can propose changes to series profiles on that site and they're supposed to find sources for that (kind of like a wiki) and I don't see one listed for this. Tyciol (talk) 22:58, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

it now seems to list the following as a source: "ANime Encyclopedia, Clements/McCarthy, Page 227-228". if someone is familiar with this, it might be a good idea to verify it and put that as a source instead. cheers, k kisses 17:41, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Shorter reference edit

Does this series possible have a shorter name, such as in slang or something, that's not 1 words instead of two, like perhaps a portmanteau such as lolitanime or lolime or something? Tyciol (talk) 00:16, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Permission of removal of current external source edit

Greetings. I would like to ask for the removal of the external source of this article, as it has been 4 years since its notification of being a self published resource since its origins is of that of a questionable site, with its owners and writers holding a very vehement and biased disposition towards certain fields of Japanese Animation, and also:

  • involves claims about events not directly related to the source,
  • and is unduly self-serving and exceptional in nature.

While Lolita is a very controversial, and challenging story regarding the subjects of pedophilia and immorality, of which the author himself had no sympathy for its characters due to its large amounts of perversity, I feel that it would be best if a source that would have a more mature and less crass, as well as more neutral standing, would be best on the topic of Lolita Japanese Anime.

Thank you. 65.128.153.213 (talk) 07:26, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

"House of Kittens" synopsis edit

"Miu becomes an artist's model and is drugged and raped after attending a post-session dinner." I've seen this episode, with subtitles, and this description doesn't even resemble what I watched. Miu is working as a prostitute at a brothel that uses a bar as a front, and though there is a brief bondage scene that Miu clearly didn't agree to, the rest is consensual and actually quite gentle and almost lovey-dovey.
