Hi @Steamybrian2, according to coflein.gov.uk the station opened c. 1840. This has been added to the article along with the citation. It is now also reflected in the category section. CapG57 (talk) 22:52, 26 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

CapG57- hi - I have seen your edit about freight here (and elsewhere). No problem with the edit per se, but realtimetrains delete information after about three weeks so the url will go to a Dead Link status in less than a month.
