Opponent

László Rajk (1909-1949) was an opposant to the communist rule in Hungary.

Huh!!!??? Rajk was definitely not an "opposant" of communism. He just happened to be a different kind of Communist than Rákosi. Will some Hungarologist please phrase this properly? Cheers Io 15:14, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

I think what the first guy was trying to say was that Rajk was from a different era of communist, i.e. he had been friends with Karolyi and was a Spanish civil war veteran. Chained dog of Tito's imperialism

Special hungarian communist expression. It doesn't mean that Rajk was a barking dog, but Rákosi chained (imprisoned) him, it means that Tito held the chain of Rajk in his hands and this fascist Rajk was barking against proletar power. Background?

Can anyone clarify whether Rajk was Jewish? If so, his Jewishness could have been an extra pretext with which to prosecute him, and would be important information to include in this article. I have heard that he was, but cannot find that information on other wikipedia language versions.

The SS was not like the KGB or the Stasi or Securitate. 

The latter were secret services, the SS was more like an "elite" executionist troop under the Nazis. The comparison makes no sense.

Isn't is strange that the German article on Rajk says he comes from a German family and the Hungarian article that he comes from a Szekler family?

Talk about inaccuracy!

Biibliography fault, stalinistic work as literature

We find there Koltai, Ferenc: László Rajk and his Accomplices before the People's Court, Budapest 1949]. I think this ist the official trial document from 1949. I do not think that this document is appropriate literature. It justifies the murder of Rajk and contains hundreds of lies. The president of this court committed suicide, when the truth about his proceedings came in public in the year 1955. I will remove this piece of injustice in two weeks if nobody objekts. in my opinion does this book not belong to the „reliable, independent, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy" which are subject of the guideline of Wikipedia:Reliable sources.
