Author edit

The authors, anoymous ad Martin Luther, should show in the infobox. In {{infobox musical composition}},|text= is intended to show at least the author in cases, when the text has no name. There is no extra parameter "author", to keep the infobox simple. Do we have to change that, or change the documentation? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:42, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The text parameter in this infobox was never intended to show an author - perhaps you are thinking of the chorale parameter in the Bach infobox? Nikkimaria (talk) 01:16, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I intended to use it in the same way as chorale, - how can you say "never"? - We could create a extra para "author" but I tried to keep it simple. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:23, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
We could keep it simpler by not trying to show this in the infobox, where it cannot be readily explained. Nikkimaria (talk) 11:56, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
This hymn is widely known as a work by Luther. However, it was a collaboration, and the infobox should show this. Not to mention Luther is a mistake in the opposite direction. Consider to revert yourself, I don't want to edit-war, having sung "with the spirit" all morning. (We celebrate Pentecost for two days.) The parameter was intended - in a very general template - to show what the reader should know about the text. Suggestions of how to word it are welcome on the template talk. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:08, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Revert myself from what, exactly? You've already restored your version, which doesn't show what you think it does and contradicts the article besides. Rather, you should revert yourself. Nikkimaria (talk) 22:03, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Do you have a suggestion how the author of the text, in whose article this is mentioned, can appear? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:31, 2 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
