The article should maybe explain if the group of Christians is not in fact a mainly Evangelical group. While Evangelicals are often strong supporters of Israel (and of Zionism), Catholics have been known to be more neutral, and sometimes pro-Palestinian, since many Catholic leaders in the region are themselves Palestinian.
