Moving this page edit

It would appear that the move to "Kleeb lamduan" is not actually uncontroversial, and therefore a move discussion should be opened here to reach consensus. A G6 tag on the alternative title would not be appropriate. Regards, Vanamonde (talk) 13:17, 18 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Capitalisation edit

The following is copied from User talk:Paul_012:

Hi Paul 012, Kleeb Lamduan is capitalised because that's what all the sources I can find use, so per MOS:CAPS, that's what we should use. Can you please remove your CSD from the redirect and reinstate my good faith changes that you reverted. Sarahj2107 (talk) 05:55, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

My reply follows:

Of the two English references currently listed in the article, one is a blog and can hardly be considered a reliable source, and the other is a children's book which capitalises every word in its section headers, where the article title only appears once, so the appearance there is irrelevant to the word's usual capitalisation. This regular food name is not a proper noun, and common sense would tell us that it should be treated like any other food name, i.e. uncapitalised. If you're still unsure, take a look at some news articles here, here, here, here and here, where the dish name is never capitalised. --Paul_012 (talk) 14:39, 18 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Kleeb LamduanKleeb lamduan – Per the above section. Not a proper noun, no reason to capitalised per WP:NCCAPS. Paul_012 (talk) 19:56, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per nom. This is not controversial. —  AjaxSmack  03:18, 2 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
