Murder Conviction edit

It might be good to flesh out further Miyamoto's conviction on conspiracy to commit murder. Even into the 1980's, some LDP members considered him a murderer and said so in the Diet. Miyamoto and his cohorts suspected Tatsuo Obata of being a spy for the police and betraying a fellow JCP member. They then proceeded to physically abuse Obata while interrogating him, to the point where he died of his injuries. Although the Japanese police were certainly evil in the 1930's, it is questionable whether this justifies murdering someone who you think is working with the police. It is reminiscent of the methods of the Japanese Red Army or the Aum Shinrikyo, and thus is quite distasteful to the Japanese people. I think that, properly sourced, this information would be a good addition to the article. --Westwind273 (talk) 19:58, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
