Latin American draft picks edit

There are several news reports that claim that Towns is the first Latino number 1 pick, but that's not true. Mark Aguirre was part Mexican. [1] Zagalejo^^^ 18:10, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 22 March 2020 edit

Karl-Anthony Towns has listed height of 7’ 0” rather than 6’ 11” listed on this article. Along with the his listed weight is 247 pounds other than the listed 248 on this article 76.77.164.147 (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done. Please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to make. Also, weight varies, so it's not like that can really be that accurate anyway. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 18:29, 22 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

You should add things about his mom... 24.4.220.55 (talk) 22:43, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talkcontribs) 23:26, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Death of Mother edit

In April 2020, it was reported by the Timberwolves that his mother died of Coronavirus. That was all over the news and social media, and I was a little surprised to not see it in this article (CNN for reference: https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/13/us/jacqueline-towns-karl-anthony-coronavirus-dies-trnd/index.html). Looks like there were some edits but someone decided it was not notable. Is there any discussion on that point? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.93.87.3 (talk) 22:25, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Death of Family Members to Covid edit

The page states that he lost his mother and 6 other family members to Covid, but the source states that, "he said he also is continuing to process the death of his mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, and six other family members who also died of complications from the coronavirus." Should we edit the page to indicate that the source is a statement by him, or do we count him as a reliable source? Poppa shark (talk) 18:46, 14 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
